Director of Investor Relations

Summary:

Reporting to the CEO & CFO, the Executive Director, Investor Relations will be a responsible/accountable take charge individual who thrives in a non-bureaucratic work environment. The Executive Director, Investor Relations will develop and execute the Global Investor Relations strategy which includes strategic positioning of the corporate message, presentations to the investment community and analyst’s meetings; identify and lead targeted marketing presentations to key investor groups.

The Executive Director, Investor Relations is expected to take a lead role in interfacing with the investment community, serve as a liaison for day to day inquiries from investors and stock analysts, as well as monitor and analyze trading data, industry trends, peer company performance. Develop strategies to target selected investors and funds to expand ownership worldwide; work with corporate communications to develop supporting documents and written materials, and leverage opportunities appropriately to maximize shareholder value, all through best practice.

Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Works with Senior Management to develop strategic communications delivered to investors and analysts.

  • Works with Corporate Communications to develop written materials, such as press releases and earnings releases, for dissemination to the public.

  • Develop and execute the Global Investor Relations strategic programs. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of NetWorkWise’s products and business strategy to assist in representing the client to the investment community and Wall Street analysts.

  • Organizes meeting requests with investors, analysts and the client’s executive management team. Actively liaise on day-to-day inquiries from investors and stock analysts, providing information in compliance with applicable SEC rules and regulations.

  • Maintains regular contact with all assigned buy-side and sell-side contacts to provide up to date information about events and market trends affecting the client, with the goal of supporting our long-term vision. Monitors and analyzes data relating to trading activity, relevant industry data, and peer company performance, including consensus models.

  • Facilitates preparation of PowerPoint presentations for the investment community, analyzes and tracks competitor activities for dissemination to executive management and for use in competitive positioning.

  • Manages information necessary for preparation of the Annual Report and other strategic financial communications.

  • Prepares materials for investor conferences, and the preparation of detailed stock trading and shareholder information for presentations to Senior Management.

  • Monitors fluctuations in shareholder base and makes recommendations based on observations. Manages targeted marketing activities to new and existing shareholders.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • MS and/or PhD in relevant science field or a related business discipline.

  • Experience developing and executing Global Investor Relations strategies.

  • A proven ability to foster and maintain positive internal and external relationships.

  • Ability to think about the big picture, build strategic plans, and then manage and execute those plans.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent research skills, outstanding attention to detail, proven time management skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Ability to travel.
